There are occasions that remind us why we create experiences in the first place. Our first Pink Picnic Friday, held in October 2026, was one of them.
Set against the natural beauty of Dubai’s lakeside landscape, we welcomed an intimate gathering of women for an afternoon centred on connection, community and breast cancer awareness.
Created by Cozy Moods in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation, Pink Picnic Fridays forms part of Dubai Health’s 2026 #PINKtober campaign, bringing together thoughtful outdoor hosting and a cause close to the hearts of many.
For us, this was more than another event. It was an opportunity to use the experiences we create to bring people together for something meaningful.
Five Years of Cozy Moods, A New Reason to Gather
As Cozy Moods celebrates its fifth anniversary, we wanted to mark the milestone in a way that reflected both our journey and the community that has supported us along the way.
Following an invitation from Al Jalila Foundation to participate in its breast cancer awareness initiatives, Pink Picnic Fridays: A Picnic with Purpose came to life.
The concept was simple: create a welcoming space where women could gather, share conversations, enjoy a thoughtfully curated experience and contribute towards an important cause.
With 70% of ticket sales proceeds dedicated to Al Jalila Foundation, each gathering is designed to turn a shared afternoon into an opportunity to give back.
It was a natural extension of what Cozy Moods has always believed in: that the most memorable experiences are not simply about how a setting looks, but how people feel within it.
A Lakeside Picnic Designed with Purpose
For our first gathering, we transformed a quiet lakeside setting into an intimate pink-inspired outdoor experience.
Soft pink details, carefully styled tables, fresh florals and considered finishing touches created an atmosphere that felt welcoming, relaxed and unmistakably Cozy Moods.
Every element was brought together with the guest experience in mind, from the arrival and seating arrangements to the refreshments and moments of conversation throughout the afternoon.
Rather than creating a formal fundraising event, we wanted the experience to feel personal. A place where guests could settle in, meet new people and enjoy being present.
Against the open landscape and afternoon light, the result was a gathering that felt both intimate and purposeful.
Conversations That Matter
At the heart of Pink Picnic Fridays is the belief that awareness can begin with something as simple as a conversation. Our first gathering created space for women to connect, exchange perspectives and reflect on the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection and looking after one another.
The afternoon was shaped not only by the setting, but by the people who joined us and the conversations they brought to the table. For Cozy Moods, these are the moments that give an experience its meaning. Beautiful surroundings may bring people together, but it is the connections made within them that leave a lasting impression.

We are equally grateful to every guest who joined us, supported the initiative and became part of its first chapter.

An Experience Beyond the Picnic
For Cozy Moods, Pink Picnic Fridays also represents an important part of our creative journey.
Over the past five years, our work has grown from intimate luxury picnics into bespoke celebrations, brand collaborations and original experiences designed to bring people together in different ways. Pink Picnic Fridays brings those capabilities into a community-led setting, combining creative direction, outdoor hospitality, partner coordination and guest experience design in support of a charitable initiative.
It is a reflection of our belief that thoughtful hosting can create space not only for celebration, but also for connection and positive impact.
The First of Many Meaningful Moments
As our first Pink Picnic Friday came to a close, we were reminded that an experience does not need to be grand to make an impression. Sometimes, it begins with a thoughtfully prepared table, an open conversation and a group of people willing to come together for something that matters.
Our first gathering marked the beginning of Pink Picnic Fridays, with more opportunities throughout October to connect, raise awareness and support the work of Al Jalila Foundation.
