Pearl of the Gulf: Celebrating Five Years of Cozy Moods in Dubai
Five years of gathering, celebrating and creating memories outdoors.
To mark Cozy Moods’ fifth anniversary, we introduced Pearl of the Gulf, an anniversary styling concept celebrating the relaxed elegance of outdoor hosting in Dubai. Featured in Time Out Dubai and Grazia Middle East, the concept brings together soft coastal colours, sculptural curves and thoughtful details inspired by the place we call home.
It is a celebration of our creative journey and of the people who have made Cozy Moods part of their special occasions since 2021.
Inspired by the Coast, Created for Connection
With a palette of powder blue and ivory, Pearl of the Gulf takes its creative direction from the meeting of sea, sand and sky.
At its centre is our signature serpentine table. Its flowing curves create a distinctive setting for an intimate gathering, bringing guests together around a table that feels as much a part of the landscape as the occasion itself.
Soft textiles, carefully arranged place settings and considered decorative touches complete the scene. Each element contributes to the atmosphere while allowing the beauty of the surroundings to remain in view.
Set against Dubai’s coastline, Pearl of the Gulf captures what we love about hosting outdoors: the light, the open space and the opportunity to slow down together. It is an invitation to settle in, share something delicious and enjoy an afternoon without rushing.
Five Years Around the Table
Cozy Moods began in 2021 with a love of thoughtful hosting and a desire to create beautiful occasions outdoors.
Since then, our work has grown to include intimate celebrations, bespoke gatherings, brand collaborations and signature events. Each has brought a different story to our table, from birthdays and proposals to afternoons shared simply for the pleasure of being together.
Founded by Yzelle Denehan, whose background in First Class and private aviation shaped her approach to hospitality, Cozy Moods brings care to both the setting and the guest experience.
That care begins before the table is laid. It is in understanding the occasion, considering the setting and creating an atmosphere where guests feel welcome and comfortable.
Pearl of the Gulf brings this approach into our fifth-anniversary celebration. It reflects the evolution of our creative style while keeping the pleasure of gathering at its heart.

Seeing Pearl of the Gulf featured in both Time Out Dubai and Grazia Middle East made our fifth-anniversary celebration especially meaningful.
For an independently founded Dubai business, this recognition is a proud moment. A concept created to mark five years of Cozy Moods has become an opportunity to share our approach to outdoor hosting with a wider audience.
Behind the photographs are years of developing ideas, preparing settings, working alongside creative partners and learning from every occasion. Having this anniversary concept recognised is something we are delighted to celebrate with the people who have supported that journey.
Marking the Anniversary with Purpose
Alongside Pearl of the Gulf, our fifth-anniversary season also saw us create Pink Picnic Fridays, an initiative in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness.
Across two lakeside gatherings, guests, speakers and supporting partners came together for afternoons of conversation, connection and shared purpose.
For Cozy Moods, this was a meaningful way to mark the anniversary: using our experience in outdoor hosting to create a welcoming space for awareness, community and support.
Pearl of the Gulf celebrates our creative journey, while Pink Picnic Fridays carries that spirit of gathering into a cause that matters to our community.
